St. Louis, MO – Terry Hickey, Vice President of Pioneer Industrial Corporation, has announced the expansion of Pioneer Industrial into Crown Point, Indiana with the purchase of a brand new 12,000 square foot workshop. This Crown Point facility has over 70 years of electric actuator repair experience. The newly acquired workshop expands the reach of Pioneer’s services, with a specific emphasis on actuation supply and repair services.
Authorized REXA Training & Repair Center
The addition of Crown Point allows Pioneer to be an authorized REXA repair facility throughout the Midwest, with a now total of 21 states in Pioneers’ territory. This 12,000 square foot facility will repair and service REXA Electraulic™ actuators, as well as all industry leading brands of electric actuators. The new location offers a one-stop-shop for full repairs of whole valve packages. For customers, this means that Pioneer Industrial will be able to repair valves and actuators together, and then re-assemble to ensure the valve actuation package arrives back to the customer ready to go.
The newly acquired shop will also feature a full- service interactive training facility. In addition, Pioneer Industrial will be launching a new actuator reclamation service, offering customers the chance to exchange old/damaged actuators for credit in future Pioneer purchases/offerings.
New & Improved Capabilities
The expansion increases Pioneers’ electric actuation repair and service capabilities for the refining, pipeline, power, and petrochemical markets. In addition, to providing sales & service.
Industry-Leading Industrial Solutions
“It shows that Pioneer continues to strategically grow into new areas that can assist our customers when we see the opportunity,” states Matt Hickey, a Pioneer Industrial Account and Branch Manager. “We continue to want to be a ‘one-stop-shop’ for all valve repairs. This facility will allow customers to send their whole valve and actuation packages to one place and take out the finger pointing between vendor repair services. We saw a void in the market for this type of repair center. Customers only have 1 or 2 service people they use for electric actuator support, and we believe this will take the stress out of these repairs when they can just pull and send off.”
